A new planting season in Brooke's Point
Coconut, cacao and native hardwoods return to hillsides once cleared for short-cycle crops.
This spring, APLFI partnered with three barangays in Brooke's Point to plant more than 4,000 seedlings across community-managed parcels - the first phase of a multi-year agroforestry program.
The work is being led by local farming households, with technical support from municipal agricultural officers and long-standing community partners.
